Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, remember your preferences, and provide a better user experience.
2. Cookies We Use
Stedda uses only essential cookies required for the platform to function. We do not use any advertising or tracking cookies.
- Authentication cookies — Supabase sets session tokens to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for account functionality and expire when your session ends or after a set period.
- Security cookies — Cloudflare may set the
__cf_bmcookie for bot management and DDoS protection. This cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services we integrate with may set their own cookies:
- Stripe — When you use our payment features, Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — Our hosting provider may set additional security cookies. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Error monitoring — Our error tracking service may store data in the browser for error correlation and session replay. It does not set traditional cookies but uses browser APIs to track error sessions. Data is retained for 90 days.
- Booking embeds — If a site on the platform embeds a Calendly or Acuity Scheduling booking widget, these third-party embeds may set their own cookies for session management and functionality.
4. How to Control Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View what cookies are stored on your device
- Delete some or all cookies
- Block all or certain cookies from being set
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set
Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using certain features of the platform.
5. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser localStorage to store non-sensitive preferences and state. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. Items stored include:
- Cookie consent — records that you have acknowledged the cookie notice
- Create wizard progress — saves your in-progress site creation form so you can resume later
- Feedback rate limiting — timestamps of recent feedback submissions for client-side rate limiting
- Sidebar state — whether the dashboard sidebar is collapsed or expanded
- Onboarding checklist — tracks which getting-started steps you have completed
- Announcement bar dismissal — per-site tracking of dismissed announcement bars
- Promotional popup dismissal — per-site tracking of dismissed promotional popups
- Email preferences — your drip campaign opt-out choices
You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser's developer tools or settings.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
